Define Cheap
Foryota

like something you would find at a yard sale with a broken drawer and a hanful of rusty wrenches in it for like 20 bucks, then you can jew the guy down to $10 because it has a missing wheel.  but really what do you got? still might be interested.

Yeah I had CRAPsman box when I first started out wrenching. It got old fix the drawers after you got any real weight in it . Fucking drawers would come right off the slides. I smashed that MOFO with the  bucket and a CAT 325 excavator LOL Its smashed it like a soda can.

I would only get a craftsman box put my old cheap shit I have in my shed in there. My Box at work is great  I got all my stuff in it and still got some room left. It like a mini row home
Foryota

it's all preferance i had a 56in craftsman that worked and still works flawlessly and it is a erveryday box loaded with tools for a Diesel shop.  so it's been tested with weight.  not saying it's better then a snap on it was just a hell of alot cheaper and never had issues with the 10+years it's been around.

If I was to buy a craftsman box I would buy the Professional Series they sell. There made buy the same company that makes Cornwell and Mac boxes
Foryota

I dont know what sears you go into but everytime I go in there to return a broken tool I get a song and a dance. Fuck that

Snapon cheaply made LOL yeah ok , Snapon boxes are the only tool box that is fully assembled with parts made in usa.

Matco Nope only assembled in usa but it gets it parts from mexioc

Mac , Cornwell , and craftsman  same thing

Snap on boxes have better drawer construction and the framin of the box has over 100 more welds holing it togehter compare to all the rest .

Snap on boxes hold  more weight and have more useable space

Some boxes claim to be bigger than Snap on boxes  but only in Size

When it comes to usable space they fall short.

Why????

Well it comes back to there construction

You get what you pay for

I know I wont ever have to buy a box agian unless I fill this one . I wont ever have to get  it replace because It fell apart

thats cause you cant find them in that mess you got over there

Everytime I take a ratchet back they try to give me a rebuilt one

Fuck that I want a un molseted one outa the glass case

I have had the same Snapon ratchets for over 10 years now Never had a issue once

Funniest thing I seen with craftsman tools was on American Hot rod

That fat kid heated up a craftsman wrench to bend it so he can get a bolt a that was in a hard spot. He took it back and they replaced it

Boyd ask the kid what did you tell them . He said he told the lady at the counter it bent LOL This wrench was 1 &1/2 and it just bent LOL

Fuckin all colored from the heat  and those dumb mo fo's gave him a new one
bigmo

i seen that one too...lol...

i HATE rebuilt ones.. i like unmolested non rusted ones from the case!!!

for every 5 craftsman ratchets ive broke ive MAYBE broke 1 snapon... maybe its how i use them.

i bent a 13mm on the back of a jeep hub snapped out of my hand and cut it up really good...i took it back with blood all over it and they said i needed to clean it before they gave me  REBUILD!!!!

I dont know what kind of work you do but the craftsmen just dont work for me. For the tool boxes snap-on,cornwell,matco are a step above craftsmen!!
Foryota

cornwell and matco are the same as the craftsman professional series.  i agree the the basic craftsman boxs are junk but that's like saying snapon is complete junk because of there bluepoint line.
